Herzing University's Madison Campus currently has an opening for FT Nursing Instructors in our new BSN program that is just getting off the ground and gaining solid traction and growth. We are looking to add to our team of MSN and Ph.D. prepared Nurses due to growth in our enrollment. We are looking for dedicated nursing professionals who are passionate about sharing their background and experience with the next generation of nursing professionals who are eager to learn and to get involved in both classroom and clinical experiences.

What you need?

* Master of Science in Nursing required
* Active and unencumbered Wisconsin RN license
* At least one year teaching experience

Physical Requirements

In addition to teaching in the classroom and meeting with students during your office hours, our Nursing program has a clinical component. When applying to this job, you are confirming that you are able to do the following, in the classroom, lab and simulation environments, and at our clinical sites:

* Consistently communicate using the spoken word with students, staff and colleagues.
* Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
* Operate equipment specific to programmatic track, personal computer, audio-visual equipment, clinical equipment, etc.
* In addition to the above requirements, for programs that include a clinical component, all faculty must be able to:
* Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
* Possesses the ability to reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
* Employ finger dexterity required to manipulate objects.
* Possess the ability to see and hear within normal parameters.
* Lift up to 25 pounds.
