In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be a confident advisor on approval, regulatory compliance and quality management related topics, in order to achieve timely releases of innovative products that deliver high quality and outstanding reliability to the lives they will improve.

You are responsible for

* Support Quality Management System review and improvement program, including harmonization and standardization with Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF).
* Support operations in continuous improvement programs for process and products through the use of process analysis and problem-solving tools.
* Support the implementation of a factory wide Quality Mindset Program.
* Perform periodic trend analysis and corrective action effectiveness measures of all quality system events and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Review standards and regulations and provide guidance on compliance.
* Analyze quality monitoring data sources and apply statistical techniques to identify existing and potential causes of non-conformances.

As a result of Philips renewed commitment to Quality, it has recently restructured its organization to ensure you and your department have clear works with Philips Business Group and Market leadership, and can harness the expertise of five Centers of Excellence (COEs). These 5 COEs specialize in the following capabilities: Regulatory & Clinical Affairs, Supplier Quality, Quality Management System, Quality Assurance & Engineering, and Compliance & Audit.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

* Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific-related field or equivalent technical experience
* 3+ years of experience Quality Engineering experience
* Work experience in quality functions, experience with problem-solving is required; experience in Medical/automotive related industry is preferred.
* Able to understand and analyze complex problems, including software and hardware design issues.
* Demonstrated deep knowledge of tools and techniques required to perform thorough root cause analysis and develop strong investigations,
* Work knowledge of appropriate global regulations, requirements, and standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
* Demonstrated knowledge of ASME/PED pressure vessel standards
* Strong Project Management skills, including ability to project manage process improvement activities.
* Ability to analyze data and apply statistical techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
