The Maureen Murphy Wilkens School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences currently offers traditional BSN, RN to BSN completion program and MSN programs in Education and Management. It is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The College seeks part time adjunct faculty members to teach clinical in the area of medical surgical nursing in the traditional BSN program for fall semester 2021 (Sept.- Dec.).

Clinical Adjunct Faculty teach at the designated clinical site and must demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter, awareness of new developments in the field and a current approach to teaching. They are responsible to foster the development of nursing skill competency, clinical judgement and application of nursing knowledge to practice. Clinical Adjunct faculty collaborate with the faculty of the Maureen Wilkens School of Nursing to ensure that students participate in clinical/lab experiences needed to achieve competency and meet clinical objectives. They are responsible for direct supervision of students in the clinical arena.

Responsibilities:

* Recognizes and addresses varied learning styles
* Communicates with course faculty to track student progress
* Collaborates with lab faculty to support student remediation
* Conducts clinical student evaluations at regular intervals
* Provides input on clinical placements
* Attend course specific orientation and meetings with course faculty

Job Requirements:

Candidates should possess a current MA RN license in good standing and MSN preferred see Massachusetts Board of Registration in nursing regulations: https://www.mass.gov/files/documents/2016/07/xu/244cmr006.pdf. Must have a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter to be taught and a commitment to undergraduate education and student success.
