We are seeking aRegistered Nurse:
Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses and have the opportunity to care for high acuity and complexity GC and IMC patients.
26-bed unit with nurse driven collaboration providing care to acutely ill trauma and surgical patients.
Includes a twelve-bed unit where critical thinking is a must, offering more intense monitoring and care when unforeseen complications arise.
Nurses are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team with a strong voice in advocating for quality patient care. Education: Preferred Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Work Experience: Minimum One (1) year recent acute medical or surgical experience required Preferred Trauma, IMC experience
Licenses and Certifications: Minimum Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin, CPR certification Preferred ACLS certification
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.
Experience in teaching patients and families
Excellent communication skills
Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members Physical Requirements: Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule: This is a part-time, 90% FTE position scheduled to work 36 hours per week. The scheduled shifts are night shift between the hours of 1900-0730 and working every third weekend based on unit needs. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
