YOUR ROLE

• Research and develop groundbreaking technologies and identify opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements
• Lead one or multiple R&D projects critical to business
• Actively make specialized knowledge available to the organization
• Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies both internally and externally
• Identify and engage valuable external partners
• Take responsibility for new research, IP, publications, technology roadmap
• Steer and facilitate knowledge sharing and support project teams in solving problems
• Act as an advisor for management and steering committees

YOUR SKILLS

• PhD in Chemistry
• 5 years of relevant professional experience and advanced knowledge in polymer chemistry
• Knowledge in formulation and typical properties of structural adhesives would be advantageous
• Passion for ecological and technical questions and independent solution concept development
• Strategic thinking, learning ambition and good communication skills
• Fluent English language skills, German is advantageous
