YOUR ROLE
- Research and develop groundbreaking technologies and identify opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements
- Lead one or multiple R&D projects critical to business
- Actively make specialized knowledge available to the organization
- Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies both internally and externally
- Identify and engage valuable external partners
- Take responsibility for new research, IP, publications, technology roadmap
- Steer and facilitate knowledge sharing and support project teams in solving problems
- Act as an advisor for management and steering committees
YOUR SKILLS
- PhD in Chemistry
- 5 years of relevant professional experience and advanced knowledge in polymer chemistry
- Knowledge in formulation and typical properties of structural adhesives would be advantageous
- Passion for ecological and technical questions and independent solution concept development
- Strategic thinking, learning ambition and good communication skills
- Fluent English language skills, German is advantageous
