YOUR ROLE
  • Oversee and organize new packaging development projects
  • Ensure fulfillment of performance, quality and cost requirements
  • Define and plan resources to meet planned objectives
  • Ensure compliance with Henkel corporate SHE standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensure circular economy target achievement
  • Execute process development necessary to support cross-functional teams in order to achieve completion of new technologies and innovations
  • Ensure that all new packages meet international recycling, health and safety requirements and other regulations
  • Assure state-of-the-art technology through patent protection of all new developments and technologies
  • Connect with consumers and generate consumer insights through various platforms

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, Packaging Engineering or similar
  • First professional experience ideally in FMCG industry
  • Knowledge and experience of the main packaging technologies, esp. plastic processing (e.g. extrusion blow molding, injection stretch blow molding, injection molding)
  • Knowledge of packaging industry and its key players (suppliers/other specialists), ideally related to FMCG industry
  • Solid understanding of packaging industry protocols
  • Track record of establishing projects resulting in successful product launches
  • Experience in project management and knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project)
  • First experience in development projects with international scope
  • Entrepreneurial mindset driving for internal/external partnering
  • Analytical, result-oriented, entrepreneurial mind (operational and business-oriented)
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong networking skills, willingness to perform within an international organization and intercultural skills
  • MS Office skills
  • Fluent English language skills, German is a plus
