Advanced/Senior:
Are you looking to work with a multi-disciplined team of engineers and scientists to support reactor plant chemistry requirements for the U.S. Navy?
We have an Advanced/Senior level opportunity in our Chemistry Technology subdivision that will support reactor coolant chemistry, radiochemistry, and hardware cleanliness requirements for U.S. Navy aircraft carriers, submarines, prototypes, and moored training ships. Some of the responsibilities include: support deployed chemistry analysis systems by designing tests, qualifying next-generation hardware, writing and maintaining procedures, training operators, responding to emergent requests for technical assistance, evaluating system data, and maintaining a hardware provisioning and obsolescence plan; and resolve primary chemistry issues and chemical analysis method and equipment issues.
The successful candidate should be able to efficiently work on multiple tasks concurrently and have a strong drive to resolve questions and complete tasks in a timely manner. Excellent oral and written skills. Some travel may be required for periodic support of developed systems, vendor meetings, and chemistry technology conferences.
