YOUR ROLE

Henkel is currently seeking an Intern to assist our Analytical Group with method testing, equipment usage/support and quality record keeping. Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment and perform assignments with limited supervision. Under the direction of a Chemist or Technician the intern will:
  • Organize and conduct experiments/testing using established procedures.
  • Operate physical and analytical testing equipment.
  • Summarize and report results by entering data into software applications.
  • Document all necessary entries for quality (standard checks/verifications/etc.).
  • Be responsible for general laboratory cleanup and other general lab duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS
  • Pursuing a degree in Chemistry or related field.. Applicant must have completed two years of college chemistry courses.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
  • Candidate will work with chemicals and must be able to follow safe work practices and protocols.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, One-Note, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing laboratory work.
  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week during business hours and on an on-going basis. Schedule can be flexible.
