The role
The School of Psychological Science is seeking to appoint three Pathway 3 (teaching focused) academics on a two-year fixed term basis. The successful candidates will join a growing team of academics to deliver and enhance our undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
What will you be doing?
Working in a collegiate and supportive environment, the successful candidates will contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching support and delivery. The main purpose will be to support our students through personal tutorials, project supervision, delivery of laboratory classes (in our newly purpose-built technology enhanced teaching space), marking. Each post will also take on special administrative projects in discussion with the School Education Director that will focus on enhancing our curriculum and student experience.
You should apply if
It is essential that you have experience of teaching and supporting students in psychology in an academic setting. You have the ability and enthusiasm to engage effectively with professional and academic staff and work independently to organise your own schedule.
For informal enquiries please contact Dr Chris Kent ( c.kent@bristol.ac.uk ).
Interviews are likely to take place on Friday 20th August 2021.
The School holds a Bronze Athena SWAN Award. We are committed to the equality of opportunities and to selection on merit. Our University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities and are happy to consider flexible working options.
We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
