The Fine Arts department of Northern Virginia Community College, Loudoun Campus is seeking qualified candidates who can teach the following courses:
1.Two- and Three-dimensional design, Color Sculpture.2.Drawing and Advanced Drawing.
Adjunct faculty are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semester and/or up to 8 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based upon student enrollment and staffing needs. Instruction may be during the day, evening, or weekend.
*Special Assignments:*May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
*KSA's/Required Qualifications:*•Adept knowledge of instructional technologies
•Excellent interpersonal and native or near-native oral and written English skills
•Ability to work with a diverse student population
•Successful passing of a criminal background check
•Adjunct faculty are required to meet assigned classes on meeting dates, submit required grade records and reports, student learning outcomes.
•Classes maybe held during the day, evening or combination of both.
Master's degree in art history or a master's degree with eighteen graduate semester credit hours in art history is required.

MFA
in Studio Arts, and experience teaching both of thefollowing courses at the college level:
1.Two- and Three-dimensional design, Color Sculpture.
2.Drawing and Advanced Drawing.
