Director, Value and Access, HEOR/Access Strategy - COVID-19/HIV

In this role, you will implement and manage HEOR strategies and tactics for inflammation assets for rheumatology, ensuring our products are differentiated and bring value to our patients around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director, GV&A HIV & Emerging Viruses Therapeutic Area Lead, our Director of V&A, HEOR/Access Strategy - COVID-19/HIV Pipeline will:
  • Support the implementation of global HEOR strategies and programs for in-line COVID-19 assets to inform, support and strengthen commercialization activities
  • Partner closely with cross-functional and affiliate business partners to develop and support product value proposition to optimize access, reimbursement and uptake
  • Identify global HEOR evidence requirements and gaps; design, conduct and deliver studies, models and tools to support value demonstration and product differentiation for assigned virology pipeline assets and indications
  • Provide HEOR and Access Strategy input into clinical development programs across the HIV portfolio
  • Partner with HEOR Center of Excellence to guide development of PRO strategies; ensure PRO end points are included in product labeling and support product differentiation
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry regulatory and HTA issues and research relationships with HEOR KOLs
  • Support dissemination of HEOR data and study results


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We're seeking an analytical independent contributor with:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Degree plus relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or managed care, including direct experience in HEOR
  • Strong understanding of HEOR assessments and technical expertise in design and execution of HEOR studies and models
  • Experience in developing strategic market access tools including, but not limited to, global and AMCP dossiers
  • Comprehensive understanding of US/global healthcare systems and reimbursement processes/decision making, experience in US managed care
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Infectious Disease, Virology
  • B.A. or B.S. required in life sciences, engineering or other related discipline; Advanced degree in HEOR-related field preferred
