Laboratory Assistant II

Adecco is hiring a Lab Technician.

Accountabilities:
Sample Distribution Warehouse/Lab Technician

Primary Responsibilities (under the direction of the area supervisor or lab technician):
-Chemical sample fulfillment, including the retrieval, mixing, and decanting of chemicals using ergonomic and scientific tools
-Sample prefilling
-Packaging sample shipments
-Completes administrative tasks related to sample request fulfillment (printing documents, labeling samples)
-Uses inventory management software to process sample shipments, adjust inventory, maintain data
-Compiles data, updates spreadsheets and electronic databases
-Assists with customer inquiries and historical record research tasks
-Assists with data management projects
-Organizes email communications to individuals and groups
-Transcribes notes, scans and files documents
-Assists with physical inventories of warehouse areas
-Aids with laboratory/warehouse organization projects

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and move/lift heavy loads with material handling equipment (pallet jacks, drum lifters, dollies, carts)

Experience
-Associate's degree or higher preferred.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills desired
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred
-Familiarity with IATA/DOT shipping regulations and/or Lean manufacturing concepts would be highly regarded Adecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers.
