Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Sr. Project Director of Head Start Programs, the Deputy Director will have both internal and external facing responsibilities, ranging from client and project management (framing of key approaches, high-quality client delivery, key deliverables) to administration (information technology, and reporting), and human capital (HR/recruiting and supervision, mentoring, career progression). Successful execution of activities in the above areas - on time, with quality and on budget.
Oversee the smooth implementation of day-to-day operations of the contract to include direct supervision of Directors who oversee the following areas Scheduling and Planning, Reporting, Training, Reliability, Technology, Data Analytics, Payment, and CLASS/Follow-ups, RAN and Special. Provide guidance to Directors, ensure strong communication systems, oversee compliance and monitors progress towards key contract deliverables. Assists with marketing, builds and maintains customer relationships and supports the Sr. Project Director.
The Deputy Director focuses of continual process and operations improvements, oversees daily operations, planning, quality control, and develops and monitors the use of resources. Creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all work streams, develops tracking and reporting processes and tools.
Proactively identify issues/barriers, conducts a root cause analysis to correct the issue and creates solutions.
Serves as the liaison between the Sr. Project Director and the Operations of the Head Start project.
Interfaces with the Office of Head Start when required.

Requirements

Head Start experience
Project Management Experience
At least 10+ years of experience managing projects
Bachelor's Degree
