Overview:
The Management Department of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to support and strengthen our programs in Human Resource Management. This academic-year (nine-month) faculty position will receive ample resources to support the development and maintenance of programs of excellence in both teaching and research. The position begins in Fall 2022.Faculty in the Huntsman School of Business are also expected to provide leadership in their respective programs and to make meaningful contributions to the academic and professional communities. Salary is competitive and based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Summer teaching and research grants may also be available. Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in human resource management.Develop a high-quality research program.Mentor and/or otherwise engage with graduate and undergraduate students.Provide service to the department, school, and university.

Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:Ph.D. in Management. Applicants with a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior/Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a background in HR are also encouraged to apply. Current Ph.D. students with anticipated completion by June 30, 2022, are also encouraged to apply.Evidence of potential for teaching and research excellence.Evidence, as appropriate, of commitment to student mentoring/focus or other indicators of commitment to student engagement.Application by August 30, 2021 is encouraged.
