Recruiting for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Accounting

The Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington consistently ranks among the top business schools in the United States-for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Position Description

The Accounting Department at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington, is recruiting to hire one full-time tenure eligible Assistant Professor for the 2022-2023 academic year, with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2022. Assistant Professors have an annual service period of nine months. The position is open to all teaching and research areas within accounting. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service. Duties include conducting high-quality scholarly research in accounting or a related field, and effectively teaching courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Qualifications

Candidates must have, or be nearing completion of, a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field. A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor, pending PhD with conversion to appointment as an Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
