The Gynecologic Oncology Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, in the University Medical Line (UML). The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the UML is excellence in the overall mix of scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, clinical care, clinical teaching, and institutional service-appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD and be board certified or eligible in Gynecologic Oncology. They will need to have demonstrated the ability to conduct basic and/or translational research in the areas of Gynecologic Oncology. We expect the successful candidate to conduct academic laboratory-based research that is highly collaborative within the Department, the Stanford Women's Cancer Center and the Stanford Cancer Institute. While independent funding is not required for application, the successful applicant must demonstrate an ongoing research program with the possibility of attaining independent funding.

In addition to research, the successful candidate will perform all clinical duties in the Division, including patient care and surgical procedures at a minimum of 20% effort. The successful applicant will participate in teaching and research mentorship for medical students, residents, and Gynecologic Oncology fellows in the ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
