The Department of Psychology at Seattle University seeks applicants with expertise in cognitive, quantitative, or experimental psychology for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2022.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in their area of expertise as well as sections of statistics & research methods (the 15-credit sequence and advanced course), will maintain an active and productive scholarly agenda (ideally involving students), will mentor and advise undergraduates, and will engage in the service of the Department, and eventually, the College and University. In addition, the successful candidate will have a solid record of teaching and research, an interdisciplinary perspective, knowledge of the liberal arts tradition of education, and an appreciation of both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Psychology by Fall 2022 is required.
