In this laboratory-based role, the successful candidate will support efforts to generate novel antibody-based therapeutics through single B-cell technologies. They should have knowledge of antibody structure and function with experience in antibody discovery technologies, molecular biology, cell culture, and basic characterization assays. Additional job requirements:

Work cross-functionally and across therapeutic areas to carry out rodent B-cell isolation, antibody molecular cloning and reformatting, and initial characterization
Interact and collaborate with Protein Therapeutics and Data Science colleagues to support NGS-based antibody discovery and optimization efforts
Independently design, analyze and interpret experiments to characterize the binding and functional properties of novel antibodies
Deliver scientific presentations in lab and project team meetings
Maintain familiarity with relevant scientific literature
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

M.S./B.S. in biological sciences, preferably with at least 14 years of relevant professional experience and a proven track record of successful antibody discovery. Job title is flexible based on experience. An ideal candidate will have experience in most of the following areas:

Hands-on experience in antibody discovery and development methods

Experience with biochemical assays and quantitative analysis of protein-protein binding interactions (e.g. FACS, ELISA, Octet, etc.)
Experience with single-cell FACS sorting highly desired
Mammalian cell culture and transient protein expression experience is a plus
Knowledge of antibody structure/function relationships is a plus
Prior experience with antibody sequence analysis from discovery campaigns is a plus
Experience with high-throughput liquid handling systems is a plus (e.g. Biomek, Hamilton, etc.)
