Assistant Professor of Music
The Department of Music at the University of Pennsylvania seeks to appoint a tenure track assistant professor in musicology, specializing in African American music, to begin 1 July 2022. We encourage applications from scholars with strong interdisciplinary orientations and with a demonstrated ability to engage other sub-disciplines. We seek candidates with proven successful classroom experience; teaching responsibilities will include core and specialized undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates should have completed the Ph.D. by 1 July 2022.
