An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior leader to join the Business Development & Marketing team at the NIHR Clinical Research Network's National Coordinating Centre.
The NIHR CRN Head of Business Development and Marketing is a national role responsible for leading the national and international promotion of the CRN, wider NIHR and the UK ecosystem as a prime place for undertaking clinical research, to expand the CRN Portfolio.
The role involves developing strategic relationships with senior individuals in national and international research funders, trade bodies, government departments, academic researchers, CRN National Specialty Leads and Cluster teams. You will identify new opportunities by reviewing emerging technologies and trends, and work closely with other national and local CRN teams to enable the CRN to adapt to its customers' needs. You will have the ability to quickly establish the confidence of and develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the NIHR and wider UK research system.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, along with a strategic and pragmatic approach will be essential in the continued development and delivery of this core strategic function for the NIHR Clinical Research Network.
