Assistant or Associate Professor (Tenure Track) in Buddhism

The Department of Religion at Simpson College invites applications for a full-time (six courses per year) tenure-track faculty position in Buddhism at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2022 for the Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation New Professorship in Buddhist Studies. Candidates with an appropriate research profile and significant teaching experience may be considered at the Associate level.

Position compensation includes salary ($50,000-62,000/a depending on experience and rank conferred), benefits, research fund, and a library development fund.
