Our goal is to meet the client's needs in the nurturing environment of their home, minimize the impact of the client's condition on the family and respect the role of the family in the care of the client.

REGISTERED NURSE JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for reliable and self-motivated RNs to join our EQC Home Care Agency family! If you're a caring individual who prioritizes quality care in the home for medically fragile and technology dependent children and adults then we want to work with you!

*Note: We welcome new grads to apply and offer comprehensive training and mentorship to those just starting their nursing careers.

RN REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current Oregon Nursing License;
  • Associates or Bachelors in Nursing;
  • Authorization to Work in the US;
  • Be able to pass all screening tests, including but not limited to criminal records and LEIE checks (ORCHARDs);
  • Must Work 1-2 Weekends a Month

RN RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:
  • Working one-on-one with client and Delegating Nurse as needed.
  • Determining and Maintaining clients' condition, progress, and teaching needs, and to re-evaluate the medication and nursing needs and services being provided to the client by the caregiving staff.
  • Initiating service plans in conjunction with the client and/or the client's representative and makes necessary revisions as the client's status and needs changes.
  • Initiates appropriate nursing procedures.

Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency care
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
