This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly motivated, high-performing Admissions and Visa & Immigration Student Advice Service (VISAS Team) at the University of Southampton. The successful candidate will work with both teams.

VISAS and Admissions work closely together and also with the Student Hub, the International Office, Student Records and other professional services. We also have strong links with external stakeholders such as the Police Nationalities Office and the Home Office.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, a strong customer service ethos, be able to follow procedures and regulations and yet be creative in suggesting improvements to develop processes. Although not a requirement, they will ideally have experience of working within a Higher Education environment (eg admissions, student records) and have some knowledge of the UK's immigration regulations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and persuasively to staff, customers and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need to be cleared by the Home Office to handle Biometric Residence Permits (BRP).

Interviews are due to take place in the week commencing 25 October 2021.
