Are you enthusiastic about teaching Computer Science and have the skills to engage, enthuse and motivate students?
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your experience in teaching within a Russell Group University?
Would you also be interested in the opportunity to study for a fully-funded, part-time PhD in the School of Computing?
The School of Computing is seeking to recruit excellent teaching staff to enhance the development and delivery of our programmes and extend our outreach activities. The role will require you to deliver both practical and tutorial classes to support academic staff across a variety of modules on our computer science programmes. This includes modules such as discrete mathematics, programming, and software engineering.
Your role will also involve supervising student projects and contributing to marking of assessments. You will be making an important contribution to ensuring students receive an outstanding educational experience.
If you wish to study as a part-time PhD student, you will also develop your research skills as part of one of our research groups.
You will have technical experience in computer science. In addition to effective teaching skills, you will demonstrate excellent team working skills with an ability to work in a cross-cultural team, and also possess excellent communication skills.
