Human Growth & Development Instructor


1. Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lessons consistent with the course
syllabus.
2. Assist students in their quest for a career.

3. Provide the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to
quizzes, tests, homework and projects.

4. Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives on the first day of class.

5. Participate in in-service seminars and professional development training on an ongoing basis.

6. Support student retention through contacting absent students, providing tutoring, and recognizing
student achievements through honors and awards.

Job Requirements - English Composition Instructor - Psychology / Life-Span Instructor

1. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in English , or related field.

2. Mastery of respective teaching field's concepts and ability to communicate/transfer such concepts.

3. Minimum of 2 years experience or other related experience.

4. Teaching experience in post-secondary education at an accredited institution is preferred.

5. Ability to be highly organized and detail oriented.

6. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with diverse students, staff and faculty.

7. Consistently display the highest levels of integrity.

8. Exceptional social and customer focused skills.

9. Teaching and/or training experience a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MSN
  • Valid Nursing License in state of employment
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in specialty field
  • Prior teaching experience is required.
