The School of Social Work seeks applications for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor for Field Education. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position with academic responsibilities primarily out of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign campus. The Clinical Assistant Professor will encompass all activities related to Field Education including, but not limited to, planning for student field placements, field liaison duties with students and partner organizations, teaching field seminar classes, and developing placement sites.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work with at least two years of post-graduation experience. Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is required. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), prior experience as a field instructor, experience in social work education or on a university campus is highly desirable.

This is a full-time (100%), twelve month non-tenure track faculty position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. The proposed start date is as soon as possible after the closing date.

- Assist in planning and implementation of the School's field education program
- Assist in the overall training and orientation of field instructors
- Provide consultation and mediation, as necessary, to field instructors and partner organizations
- Participate in selecting, monitoring and evaluating field placement sites
- Evaluate student learning experiences, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in the field education planning process
- Teach field education seminar courses
Service
- Membership and participation in School committees and taskforces
- Membership and participation in University and/or State, national or international committees
- Community-based presentations
Scholarly Work
- Participation in scholarly activities
- Additional responsibilities, as assigned, to support the mission of the Field Education Program and the School of Social Work
