Overview We are currently searching for a Scientific Reviewer to independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Mental Health. This opportunity is full-time, and it is on site in Bethesda, MD. Duties & Responsibilities * Review and prepare written reviews of research grant applications, ensure accuracy and completeness of reviews. * Work with staff to identify and coordinate the participation of reviewers for grant applications. * Identify and recommend reviewers by matching the expertise of the reviewers to the research grant application. * Obtain, evaluate, and coordinate written critiques from expert reviewers. * Proofread, clarify, and edit reviews, summaries, and reports. * Review draft documents, synthesize comments, and incorporate appropriate comments from reviewers into final documents; cross check data and verify content from source documents. * Coordinate critiques form expert reviewers; evaluate incoming reviews for completeness and accuracy. * Assess reviewers against applications for potential conflicts of interest. * Serve as point of contact between reviewers and staff. * Enter reviewer data into the NIMH Committee Management system; prepare peer review rosters. # SOAR Requirements Required qualifications: * Ph.
