Ability to teach both residential and on-line classes. Willing to participate in professional development courses, conferences, student advising. Participate in curriculum development. Serve on school and university committees. Accomplish creative research.
Minimum Qualifications
MFA required. Areas of expertise in one or more of the following: graphic design, UI/UX design, some experience in studio art. Applicants should be able to demonstrate evidence of professional/academic activities and research, be able to combine theory with practice in a liberal arts context and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MFA required. Areas of expertise in one or more of the following: graphic design, motion graphics, UI/UX design, illustration and some experience in studio art. The ideal candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of industry standard software. Applicants should be able to demonstrate evidence of professional/academic activities and research, be able to combine theory with practice in a liberal arts context and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Additionally, the preferred candidate will also have experience with online teaching environment.
