The School of Communication & the Arts invites applicants for the position of PhD Methodologist. This position is to mentor and guide students to develop into scholars and methodologists during the dissertation phase making it possible to contribute to the advancement of innovative theories. The students are encouraged to utilize qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research.
The qualified applicant will have an earned PhD. The applicant needs to have documented experience in any or all of the following methodologies: qualitative, quantitative or mixed-methods research. The applicant will be expected to guide and mentor student methodology during the dissertation process. Online faculty must have regular access to and familiarity with the Internet/e-mail.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in a related field (with professional experience) required. Experience with a single methodology.
Preferred Qualifications
* Terminal degree in Communication or Strategic Communication
* Methodology experience in multiple methodologies
* Three years or more of full-time online teaching experience at the graduate levels, and a strong record of professional achievement.
* History of publication in academic or trade journals.
* Established research and/or professional content agenda.
