Portland State Universitys Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies ( WGSS ) Department invites applications for local Adjunct Instructors with expertise in key topic areas of WGS and demonstrated teaching experience to teach undergraduate introductory courses. Successful applicants will be expected to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: gender and sexuality studies; race, class, gender and sexuality; women of color feminisms; introduction to womens studies; and introduction to queer studies.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.S. or M.A. in WGS (or closely related field).
Previous teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in WGS (or closely related field).
Expertise in intersectional feminist and/or queer analysis.
Experience teaching in fully online environment.
