THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION WITH NO BENEFITS / 20 - 25 HOURS PER WEEK
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom and laboratory instruction, examination preparation and grading and preparing students for a rewarding career in Welding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides students with hand on training as well as textbook training as needed to succeed in the Welding field
* Instruct students in the techniques of Welding
* Ensures that all necessary documentation is kept current and delivered in a timely manner
* Ensures that an accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom
* Willing to prepare and update material/outlines for adult learning styles
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* NCCER Certified or willing to become certified within three months of employment
* Five or more years of direct experience in the Welding field
* Must have basic computer skills with the ability to use MS Office software which includes PowerPoint.
* Able to teach night classes.
PREFERRED:
* Associate Degree or Certification in Welding from an accredited Institution or ten or more years of experience in the Welding field
* Must have basic computer skills with the ability to use MS Office software which includes power point
* Able to teach night or Saturday classes
