YOUR ROLE
- Research and develop groundbreaking technologies
- Identify opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements
- Lead one or multiple R&D projects critical to the business
- Actively make specialized knowledge available to the organization
- Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies both internally and externally
- Identify and engage valuable external partners
- Responsible for new research, IP, publications, technology roadmap
- Secure IP position in own area of development
- Steer and facilitate knowledge sharing and support project teams in solving problems
- Act as an advisor for management and steering committees
- Contribute actively in scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations
YOUR SKILLS
- Master in Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Preferably with background in reactive chemistries such as polyurethanes, silane-modified polymers, epoxies
- Strong communicator to internal stakeholders (Sales, Technical Customer Service, Project Management) and customers
- Knowledgeable user in MS Office and web-based search tools (e.g. Scifinder)
- Statistical methods (e.g. Design of Experiment) as a plus
- Fluent English language skills
