Lead Facilitator - Faculty

Lead Facilitators will work in conjunction with a current undergraduate peer facilitator to guide discussion for a section of SEM 100, which is comprised of approximately 20 first year students in the Fall 2020 semester. These discussions are anchored around increasing the sense of belonging on the Syracuse University campus. Discussions will include dialogue around race, class, gender and other topics related to equity and inclusion. Facilitators will be provided with a curriculum guide, training, and ongoing support throughout the duration of SEM 100. Lead facilitators will meet with their peer facilitator outside of class hours for course planning. Lead facilitators will also be invited and encouraged to attend, campus events, beginning with orientation weekend, that SEM 100 students will be attending.
