We are seeking a front-line nursing leader for the Family Practice & Forensics Unit to:

Direct and lead nursing staff to ensure optimum patient care, efficient operations, quality service and sound financial management.
Facilitate and participate in daily interprofessional rounds.
Continuously assess unit needs by ensuring adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts.
Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. Education:Minimum Baccalaureate degree in nursing or ADN and achievement of BS in nursing within five (5) years of hire.Preferred BSN

Work Experience:Minimum -Two (2) years experience in an acute care inpatient unitPreferred -Three (3) years experience in an acute care inpatient unit

Licenses and Certifications:Minimum -Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin and CPR certification.Preferred -National certification in relevant specialty.

Demonstrates recent involvement in leadership activities. Physical Requirements:Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:This is a part-time, 90% FTE position scheduled to work36 hours pe rweek. The scheduled shifts are a mix of 1500-2330, 1900-0730 and 2300-0730. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
