Schedule to be determined.
In addition to applying online with a CV and cover letter via the MIT website, applicants are asked to send a proposal for the class you would be interested in teaching (including syllabus, reading list, and assignment structure), a CV (including names of three recommenders), and at least one complete set of recent teaching evaluations to the WGS Program Administrator at wgs@mit.edu.
Applications received by October 15, 2021, will receive full consideration.
LECTURER, GENDER AND VISUAL ARTS, Program in Women's and Gender Studies (part-time, 33.3%), to teach one course on gender and the visual arts in spring 2022. The definition of gender and visual arts for the course can be broadly or narrowly defined depending on the candidate's interests and expertise. A class component in which students complete some artistic work is a required element, as well as an intersectional lens on social justice, inclusion, equity, and diversity.
