Job Overview:
The Role:
Develops/validates methodologies for various compounds and components in compliance with appropriate SOPs and regulatory agency guidelines.
+ Experience with use and trouble shooting of analytical equipment is desired.
+ Experience with LIMS system
+ At least 3 years of validation experience
+ Basic knowledge of computers and software programs
+ Experience in troubleshooting assays
+ Effective communication (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.
+ At least 3 years' experience in method validation working on various immunoassay platforms
+ Independently sets up, maintains, operates, and performs routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment, including problem identification and resolution.
+ Performs and sets up method development and validation of various analytes in a variety of matrices with little or no supervision.
+ Effectively plans and utilizes personnel and resources for timely completion of assigned projects.
+ Is a technical resource for the department (trouble shooting, method development, method transfer, and qualifications)
+ Has worked on cell-based assays
+ Acts as a project leader, overseeing a small group of technical staff, with minimal supervision.
+ Can independently review, organize, and evaluate data.
+ Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
+ Performs other related lab duties as assigned.
+ Participates in process improvement initiatives.
+ Participates in client visits as needed, assists in communicating technical information.
+ Assists in evaluation of new technologies or techniques.
Education/Qualifications:
+ BS/BA degree in science plus at least 4-5 years of previous laboratory experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education
Experience:
