The role
The internationally leading Department of Population Health Sciences (PHS) in the University of Bristol Medical School (BRMS) is seeking a Medical Statistician to work on a research project that will model the natural history of Parkinson's disease using data from two large cohorts (Tracking Parkinson's and Oxford Discovery).
What will you be doing?
The person appointed to this post will contribute to projects modelling the natural history of Parkinson's disease in two large cohorts. The post-holder will be expected to carry out statistical analyses and will write up results for publication in peer-reviewed journals. The post-holder will carry out data management providing data extracts to internal and external collaborators and in the case of internal collaborators will provide statistical advice.

You should apply if
- You have at least a PhD with a substantial amount of statistical work; or an MSc in Statistics with equivalent professional experience.
- You have some experience with prognostic modelling and familiarity with methods for longitudinal analysis.
