Do you have experience of delivering group exercise and designing personal fitness programmes?
Do you have the ability to influence, engage, and motivate others?
We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Fitness Instructor to provide assistance in the day-to-day operations and supervision of our fitness facilities and sport complex. You will supervise a small team of Fitness Instructors and will be responsive to the needs of customers and be regularly available to provide help and advice. You will take an active role in fitness instruction, Personal Training (PT), Course delivery, Health and Fitness Assessments and preparing tailored fitness programmes for our diverse member base.
Experience of working in the fitness industry is essential, along with the ability to deliver group exercise sessions. You will have the ability to engage and motivate others to achieve goals and lead by example with a commitment to setting and achieving the highest standards. A commitment to providing excellent customer service and driving continuous service improvements is also deemed essential for this role.
The role is full time, working on a shift basis which will include the requirement for you to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, University closure days and bank holidays. You will be primarily based at one of our designated sports facilities, however will be required to work at any of our sports facilities when required.
