Three casual Research Assistant opportunities available until December 2021.

Must be willing to travel across different sites, and willing to undertake employment screening and national police clearance as required by SA Health policy and clinical work.

CADOSA (Coronary Angiography Database of South Australia) is a project funded by a grant provided by the National Heart Foundation (SA Division), the SA Government and the University of Adelaide. CADOSA is a state wide registry in which all patients undergoing a coronary angiogram at any of the four major hospitals in Adelaide (Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell McEwin Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital) will be recorded into a multi-site database.

Working under general direction, the Research Assistant provides assistance and support to the CADOSA Study with the main focus being collecting confidential information from direct contact with patients and via case notes. The Research Assistant will also provide support to the Project Data Manager and Project Administrator.

Position 1: working 30 hours per week at Ashford Hospital.

Position 2: working 30 hours per week at Lyell McEwin Hospital

Position 3: working 25 hours per week at Calvary Hospital

To be successful you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support; including word processing, data entry, filing and photocopying
  • Proven experience in dealing with medical research teams and/or coordinating projects
  • Knowledge of Cardiology terminology
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and interpersonal skills
  • High ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality
  • Post-secondary qualification and/or relevant experience
