Job Summary The College of Education at Georgia Southwestern State University is seeking candidates for a position as a Lecturer or tenure track Assistant Professor. Responsibilities of this position include: teaching various classes to undergraduate and graduate students in Special Education on the GSW campus and at off-campus sites; academic advising; supervision of student teachers; engage in professional development activities; service contributions to the College of Education and University. The applicant may also teach other classes, as assigned, consistent with the candidate's expertise and qualifications.
Required Qualifications Master's degree in Special Education or related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* An earned doctorate from a regionally accreditated institution is preferred (ABD considered), completed 18 graduate credit hours in special education, and at least three years of public school teaching experience preferred.
