*Position Summary:*WCU, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has adopted a "Get Vaccinated or Get Tested" policy effective October 1, 2021. This will require you demonstrate evidence of full vaccination upon hire or be subject to regular testing.

The College of Business commonly, but not always, has the need for part-time instructors. We invite applications to be submitted for these potential openings.

Accounting
Finance
Economics
Business Administration
Business Law
Sport Management
Hospitality and Tourism
Quantitative Analysis

Marketing and Sales

Entrepreneurship
Project Management

Minimum qualifications for teaching in the academic programs are a doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline). A terminal degree is preferred. Significant business experience may substitute for academic credentials in some cases.

These appointments are on a course by course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline. These postings are continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of WCU at any time, you will be contacted to discuss proposed teaching opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester.
