Basic Summary

We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant Cell Culture for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA. You may be required to work a rotating shift schedule that may require weekend hours.

Under direct supervision, perform basic daily laboratory tasks as they relate to cell culture and media preparation in the Cell Culture group

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES:
  • Efficiently organize, prioritize and plan work schedule
  • Perform routine cleaning and monitoring of laboratories. Maintain and document lab cleaning records.
  • Inventory, order, restock and organize laboratory chemicals, parts and supplies; remove laboratory waste; interact with personnel from outside the department.
  • Prepare reagents (including growth media) for cell culture maintenance and testing labs.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in biology or related science preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • 0 to 1 years related experience in a biological laboratory.
  • Knowledge of cGMPs or regulatory affairs pertaining to the pharmaceutical and biological industries is preferred.
  • Must have basic knowledge of cell culture and basic laboratory techniques.
