Position: Didactic Instructor
Essential Functions :
Mastery of Subject Matter
Teaching Performance
Develop and implement teaching-learning strategies
Evaluation of Student Learning
Support of College Policies and Procedures
Participation in College and Program Activities
Collaborate with program coordinators
Contribution to Growth and Enhancement of College Mission and Programs
Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration
Job Requirements:
Skills & Abilities:
Communicate and assimilate information in spoken, printed, and electronic format
Gather, analyze and draw conclusions from data
Stand for a minimum of two hours
Stoop, bend and twist for a minimum of thirty minutes at a time
Respond to spoken words and call bells
Identify behaviors that would endanger a person's life
Remain calm, rational, decisive, and in control at all times
Exhibit social skills appropriate to professional interactions
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school (COE Standard)
Masters' degree in related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience in the specialty field
Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required
