The role
Smart Internet Lab is looking to hire a Senior Research Administrator to provide an excellent administrative support for the High Performance Networks Research Group (part of Smart Internet Lab) and the Smart Internet Lab Director.
What will you be doing?
The role holder will be involved in a variety of different areas to support the Head of Group, senior academics, PDRAs, PhD students and the Smart Internet Lab Professional Services Team to ensure that the operational needs of the High-Performance Networks Research Group are met. These include:
as well as other tasks required in the provision of professional support service.
The post holder will also provide comprehensive, effective and confidential secretarial support to the Smart Internet Lab Director.

You will be able to demonstrate administrative experience of working in a busy, demanding, large and complex organisation. You will have extensive experience of high-level diary management. You are able to work in a busy and demanding environment and produce excellent work to tight deadlines. Additionally, you will have responsive and flexible approach and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
