Description:
The PSU Master of Social Work ( MSW ) Program is ranked among the top 25% of all social work programs nationally, offering the MSW program in 3 different locations (Portland, Eugene, Central Oregon) and Online.
This position is open to instructors interested in teaching in Portland, Central OR, Eugene, and/or online program. Instructors who demonstrate an interest in and ability to realize the mission, values, and vision of the School are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to racial equity and critical, anti-oppressive, and social justice-oriented frameworks. Each academic year, there is a need to hire adjunct faculty to teach. While there is no guarantee that a course you are interested in and qualified to teach will be seeking additional instructors, qualified instructors are frequently hired to teach across the curriculum.
The MSW Program will collect applications on an ongoing basis to fill vacancies throughout the academic year. Review of applications occurs as new sections or instructors are needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.S. or M.A. in Social Work (or closely related field) and two years post-degree practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous graduate teaching experience.
