UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced 90% FTE (36 hours per week), night shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Emergency Department. We are a 38-bed Level IV Trauma Center, providing both surgical services and critical care. Our Emergency Department provides specialized treatment for cardiac, trauma, and stroke patients, and we have been recognized for providing one of the fastest times to treatment for cardiac patients in the Seattle region. Our Emergency Department is fast-paced and is a great match for a Registered Nurse interested in serving a diverse population from our local and regional communities.

SCHEDULE
The Registered Nurse will work night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively on medical team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, and cardiac care professionals. You will restore the patients' health by following evidence-based nursing practices and managing complex health issues. The Registered Nurse will identify care needs, monitor and administer medications, and provide personalized, quality emergency care with compassion, dignity and respect.

REQUIREMENTS
2 years of current or recent inpatient nursing experience
ACLS

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous nursing experience in a critical care environment
BSN or MSN
CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) through the Emergency Nurses Association
