Summary
A postdoctoral position is open at The Center for Cell and Gene Therapy to conduct correlative/mechanistic studies in first-in-man Phase I clinical trials to understand mechanisms regulating leukemia and lymphoma resistance to CAR T-cell therapy and factors regulating the activity of engineered CAR T-cells in patients. Applicants are sought to design and perform correlative CAR T-cell studies on samples obtained in ongoing Phase I clinical trials of CAR T-cells as well as the GMP-manufactured CAR T-cell products. Clinical activity of CAR T-cells will be replicated in relevant PDX models.
Job Purpose
Postdoctoral Associates are trainees working in an apprenticeship mode in preparation for a career as a scientific professional.
