Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching responsibilities involve didactic teaching and clinical training of professional students, technology students, interns, residents, and graduate students in an innovative academic program. Service responsibilities involve operation of the Radiology Service in the Animal Health Center, secondary emergency duty, and consultation with private practitioners. Clinical duties are shared with other faculty members. Participation in the college's continuing education and clinical research program, and supervision of Radiology interns and residents is expected. Development of a specific area of clinical and research focus and expertise, supervision of postgraduate degree students, external grant acquisition, and manuscript publication are expected and supported.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent). Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Radiology is required. Clinical competence in veterinary diagnostic imaging and demonstrated aptitude in teaching are required. An advanced degree and experience in clinical research are desirable.
