Position Summary:
The Chicago Medical School is seeking individuals to teach pathology. They will primarily be responsible for teaching Pathology in the systems-based medical curriculum. The individual will also be working as part of a team to develop interactive and didactic team-based learning activities as well as interacting with and mentoring medical students.

Position Summary:
The Chicago Medical School is seeking individuals to teach pathology. They will primarily be responsible for teaching Pathology in the systems-based medical curriculum. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach courses in Pathology to students in an interprofessional setting
- Mentor students in aspects of the curriculum and in their professional development
- Provide excellent teaching
- Provide formative and summative assessment questions
- Embrace and promote diversity
- Other duties as assigned by the Education Director, Pathology
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited MD, DO, or DPM program
- Ability to utilize a computer training management system
- Ability to embrace diversity
- An official transcript for the highest degree earned and also the highest clinical degree earned, if different and relevant to the position.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable / Dependable
- Organized
- Interest in the learning and well-being of the students
- Must be able to achieve a background check clearance
- Must have proof of COVID19 vaccination or a university approved exemption.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching through facilitation of interactive student-centered case discussion
- Experience in medical education curriculum development
- Experience with other educational or healthcare-related accrediting bodies
- Knowledge of current educational theory and methodology
- Ability to translate core competencies and learning objectives into an effective medical education curriculum
