Job Description
A postdoctoral research position is available to investigate how tumor cell metabolism may lead to oncogenesis including tumor progression. The research also involves studies on mechanism of gain of oncogenic function by innovative targeting of LIPG for therapeutic benefit. This position provides excellent mentoring and training opportunities. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and be eligible for employment in the U.S. Preference will be given to candidates with strong skills in molecular biology, biochemistry, tissue culture, and animal work. Salary range is commensurate with experience according to NIH scale for postdocs. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written scientific communication skills with experience in writing proposals and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications.
